Hi Bill; Yes I have been looking at the immune system for a long time. If you look at what is going on in lyme research it looks like a bunch of nonsense compared to what has been going on in cancer immunotherapy. James P. Allison and Tasuku Honjo won the Nobel prize for their work with T cells and that resulted in the drugs Keytruda and Yervoy, but those cost about $150k a year and I wanted to find something that would do the same thing for cheap.
There are also other approaches like restoring apoptosis by triggering Bax and Bak, so that is in the protocol also, as well the NB protocol mobilizes stem cells so it is a complete immune activation, but you need the complete protocol to support your body during recovery, you don't really need to treat the infections themselves at all.
Triggering Bax and Bak to promote programmed cell death;
It is hopefully the end of ragweed season here in PA, there were weeds all around me as I sat at the picnic table recording that video, after being outside all day for 2 days.
Question: when I first wake up in the morning and take my CPAP sleep apnea mask off, I have about an hour of histamine in my nose and cough some up. Is this something that happens on the protocol or could it be something else? I was concerned about mold, but after a little while it goes away for the rest of the day. This has been EVERY morning for about 6 months or more...weird...
So as your immune system is working then it doesn't quit working when you are sleeping. Die off toxins will accumulate and then you will cough that up. The head is a big target for infection as is your whole respiratory system. What you are dealing with is infected tissues in those areas and the resulting die off toxins. That is a standard result of the protocol because lyme is not only an infection of microbes it ALSO alters your DNA and creates a lot of genetic mutations, let's call the result abnormal cells, or cancer would be accurate as well.
That is why this system of activating the immune system is so appropriate for this condition because the immune system can eeliminate all of the infective microbes AND the abnormal cells as well. This is also why treating the microbes is useless because onece you have had these infections for a while then these abnormal cells will continue to grow on their own separately even if somehow you manage to remove every single pathogenic microbe. This is something that isn't discussed in the lyme arena. "Lyme" is an infectious version of cancer.
The time frame referenced in cancer immunotherapy is up to two years for a complete recovery this is the time it takes to remove all the abnormal cells from someone when they are in a stage 4 metastasized condition.
Now this doesn't happen to some people who are infected , to some degree and depending on some variables it will happen to everyone.
You still have some work to do in removing abnormal tissues and cells and as you stay on the protocol this will happen and these "allergy" and detox issues will clear up , they are both from die off toxins.
Blood cancers are Lymphoma and Leukemia and very many "lyme' patients also have those and are not aware of it. A lot of the research in this area centers around triggering Bax and Bak enzymes to cure that.
That is what you are dealing with. Give it another 6 months or so and that will clear out, the immune system works at a certain rate and if it worked any quicker you probably couldn't deal with it.
The type 4 secretion system microbes are the virulent ones and in comparison Borrelia is not that virulent. Borrelia is just along for the ride but it is pretty big and easy to see in a microscope so a false narrative about borrelia has been promoted for a long time.
I figured this had to be something like that. I know some people never get better if they are living in mold, but this reaction was only temporary in the mornings, or if I do go out in pollen. I have a Vapamore that I nuke my apartment to get rid of dust mites, and a big BlueAir heap filter to keep the air clean. I did this when my allergies went wacko, before I even knew I was dealing with Borrelia, Bartonella, Babesia, etc.
I remember I had already been doing much of the things in your protocol that I had gathered from various sources as I said (ALA, CoQ10, NAC, baths/saunas, Echinacea, etc. I also had already been doing many detox things that I talked about in that other video. Then I remember I was on winter break from the degree I was working on in January when I added the rest, after having the time when on break to go through all of your site and see the research. So that was somewhere around the beginning of February which means I have been doing the whole protocol for 9 months.
I am fairly sure I got Babesia in the spring of 2015. No way of knowing when I got Borrelia and Bartonella, but I remember getting sick with flu-like symptoms when I thru-hiked that Appalachian Trail in 2013 (In CT and Massachusetts!) And I now remember having Bartonella type foot pain when doing the AT in 2012. So these things have been in me a while, and I got misdiagnosed by doctors for years, like most people do...
It's interesting that you mention virulence. I recently read a book talking about high-virulence versus low-virulence and "stealth" microbes. For the most part, these microbes are low-virulence (for most people) and stealth.
I don't recommend anyone use a sauna. What sauna's do is to break down calcified plaques and biofilms by using a frequency. This can release a lot of toxins that will overload the liver and make a person miserable. They also tend to cause a lot of anxiety. The hyperthermia bath is not like a sauna in that it stimulates the immune system but doesn't break down plaques. The Sulfa compounds in the protocol will remove those plaques at a reasonable rate.
If you want to understand virulence factors then you have to understand the pathology of secretion systems.
Borrelia has a type 3 secretion system and is not transgenic. Bartonella has a type 4 and is and so is infinitely more capable of producing mutations. Borrelia can transfer efector proteins to help it infect a person but it doesn't shut down the immune system like Bart does. Borrelia persists when Bart is also present.

What doctors want people to believe is that every little symptom is a separate condition, that way they can make a lot of money and carry on their charade. I'm sure their may be a few doctors that understand this is all about the immune system but I don't know of any. These celebrity doctors like Horrowitz lie through their teeth and are constantly pretending to be geniuses when what they suggest is downright stupid.
Horrowitz been pushing Dapsone this year like he should get the Nobel prize for it.
When you research these subjects which I have then you find that 90% of what you read is junk. Taking what is meaningful and putting into some kind of context that actually has value, that is what this protocol is.
Yes I had been doing FIR saunas early on, because so many out there were recommending it. They made me feel rough, I sweated out completely nasty things! I stopped doing them about 2 and a half years ago. The hot baths make me sweat for about a half hour after I get out of the tub. Is that ok?
I have been taking EGCG (800mg) with Quercitin (1200mg) for a few years. The quercitin also has bromelain. Those were from Buhner's Bartonella protocol, and I just kept taking it. I also take butterbur and inositol for allergies. A few years ago I stopped getting allergy shots when my Lyme doc at the time said to stop, and I also stopped taking prescription allergy meds, and the last couple years I have not taken any over the counter allergy stuff.
